The Catherine of Siena Institute is dedicated to educating lay Catholics for the sake of their mission to the world. By providing resources and programming that are faithful to the teaching of the Church, we help parishes and communities to become lively and dynamic centers of evangelization, formation, and apostolic support.
In Christifideles Laici, Pope Saint John Paul II states that “formation is not the privilege of a few, but a right and duty of all” (63). The Church clearly teaches that all of the baptized are called by Christ to proclaim his Gospel in the world, but many parishes are ill-equipped to provide a formation that prepares Catholics for so great a mission. We seek to bridge the gap.
Our mission is deeply rooted in the teaching of the Church, calling each baptized man and women to intentional discipleship. Discerning the gifts of the Holy Spirit given to every Christian, we help prepare the laity to be effective apostles in the midst of the world.
