On January 30 at 1:30pm, the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology will host its annual Convocation of the College of Fellows. This year’s featured presenters include: Patrick Brennan, Bill Cox and John Denniston.
Patrick Brennan is a legal scholar and professor at Villanova University. Reflecting on the law as it is understood in our our Catholic tradition, he will address questions of constitutionalism and religious liberty.
Bill Cox, president and CEO of the Alliance of Catholic Health Care, will focus on the role of Catholic hospitals in providing services consistent with the Church’s moral teaching, including a preferential option for the poor and with a profound respect for the dignity of the human person.
John Denniston serves as president of the San Mateo County Chapter of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. His work as a social impact entrepreneur allows him to explore how Catholic individuals can have an affect on contemporary culture through service to their local communities.
