 Fr. Francis-Hung Quang Le,

Fr. Francis Le comes to us from Vietnam originally. He grew-up as a teenager in Santa
Barbara, CA. After studying Electrical Engineering at the BS and MS levels and
working in the technology field, he decided it was time to enter the seminary. He
had longed for the opportunity, but he wanted to financially help his family in Vietnam
first.
Moved by the grace of God, he made his first
profession of vows in 1997. He has been learning different languages for his
studies, ministry, and personal enjoyment. Spanish, English, and Vietnamese were all
used in his residency at Most Holy Trinity in Phoenix, AZ in 2000. French,
Greek, Hebrew, and Latin are still yet other languages in his tool box.
Francis enjoys his
guitar, basketball, bicycling and his two pet song birds.
A year of
theological studies in Mexico in 2002-2003 has greatly
enriched his studies.
His first assignment was to Most Holy Rosary,
Antioch, California, 2004.
