Bro. Robert H. Lavigne, O.P.
May He Rest in Peace

Chapel at St. Albert’s Priory - Oakland, California

The Brothers stayed in Vigil from 6 o’clock on
Thursday evening until the Funeral on Friday.

Display Table of Brother Robert’s Effects

A display board had photos of Brother Robert’s life and his scrapbooks and all 110 statues were placed on that table.  Guests  were invited to take a souvenir statue to remember Bro. Robert.

The Coffin and Symbol Table

Brother Robert was laid out in the full Dominican Habit with his rosary in his hands.  The table next to the coffin held the symbols which were most important in his life:  The statues of Mary; the crucifix and rosary which were found on his pillow; his prayer books; his “A’s” baseball caps; an autographed baseball signed by Tony LaRusso; and a roll of duct tape, a bundle of telephone wires and a monkey-wrench.
