 Br. Bernard Patrick Gaynor , O.P.
Br. Bernard was born in Tipperary, Ireland on Christmas Day, 1832. Entering the
Novitiate in 1858 he was one of the earliest vocations of the Province, the fifteenth.
In the course of his ministry he lived in Portland, Oregon, San Francisco and
Benicia, California. He died in Benicia in 1904, serving in that parish and
community.
