 Fr. Hyacinth James Derham, OP
Not much is known about Fr. Hyacinth except his ministry sites. After his ordination
in 1864, he ministered at Saint Francis in San Francisco. Three years later he
served at St. Catherine of Siena in Martinez. In 1871, he lived at Holy Rosary house
in San Francisco and served St. Brigid's. In 1874, he moved to St. Dominic's in that
city. His last assignment was at Benicia, California from 1879 until his death in
1891. While there, he was Master of the Conversi.
