Fr.
Dominic Robert Briese, OP
Fr. Dominic was born in Mineola on Long Island,
New York; graduated with two academic degrees in Business Finance
and Labor Management from the University of Utah; employed as a
Contracting Officer with United States Air Force.
He entered the Order of Preachers (Dominicans) in
1988 and was ordained a priest in June 1996. Fr. Dominic has served
in a variety of ministries, e.g. Pastor, Newman Center Director, and
St. Jude Shrine Director.
Fr. Dominic is currently a member of the Western
Dominican Province Preaching Band. Preaching has always been a
favorite ministry of his and in the last 12 years he has shared the
Word of God throughout the United States. He has produced two
compact disks – one on the Rosary and Healing Mass and the other
called "Family Insights" which helps families rediscover values for
living in this time.
Fr. Dominic is a cancer survivor and enjoys every
day of life. He likes reading and studying, working out and playing
