 Br. David John Paul Mott, OP is a student brother from the
Eastern United States, Province of St. Joseph. Originally from the Dominican parish of St.
Thomas Aquinas in Charlottesville, Virginia, Brother David made simple profession in
August, following a year of novitiate in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from the
University of Virginia in 1984 with a degree in German Literature. Before entering the
Order, he worked as a computer software developer and analyst. Brother David is now
beginning his philosophical studies at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology in
Oakland, California. |
