Western St. Thomas Aquinas Foundation

WESTAF is dedicated to insuring that the theology and teaching of St. Thomas Aquinas is fostered and nurtured in the Western United States.  Fr. Bartholomew de la Torre, OP began this foundation over twenty years ago and he has steadily labored to build-up the investment portfolio of WESTAF.  The intention of the portfolio is to grow it to $1,000,000, and to make use of some of the earned interest in the process.  The portfolio is now in excess of $300,000 and available for authorized disbursements in accord with the Basic Charter.  When the portfolio reaches $1,000,000, the foundation will be eligible to establish an Aquinas Chair at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology.  These days are an exciting time as we approach the first disbursements.  Many years of prayer, dedication, and financial generosity of the faithful make this foundation possible.  Consider contributing to WESTAF, by making your tax deductible donation today.  Please pray for the continued success of WESTAF, and join us in making Thomas Aquinas more accessible to priests, religious, and the laity.
