After a year of
formation in the Novitiate program of the Western Dominican Province, eight men prostrate
themselves in humility before God as they prepare to make their profession of vows.
Fr. Salvatore Di Nardo, OP preaches to those to be professed. At age 96, Fr. Di
Nardo encourages the candidates to live holy lives in the Spirit of St. Dominic.
Br. Michael Amabisco makes his vows to the Prior Provincial. Officially becoming a
professed Dominican friar, he will add the "OP" (Order of Preachers) after his
name.
